 | | Brendon Walmsley A Little TimePrice: $19.95 Brendon is another of the new young hard working, smart thinking, Country Music singers. He has had an amazing couple of years winning Qld’s Champion of Champions, then Starmaker 1999. Instead of resting on his laurels, Brendon was quickly into the studio releasing his first album before his Starmaker year was out. He received an amazing 5 final nominations in the CMAA Country music Awards of Australia, and captured the title of Best New Talent in the 2000 Awards. The first single from this album, the beautiful self penned ‘Rose and Rodeo’, managed to capture the imagination of radio programmers and fans alike. There are more tracks on this CD that will appeal to the same audience, for example ‘My Sweet Irish lady’. The Bushwackers influence is at times quite evident, but that’s hardly surprising as the album was produced by long time Wacker, Roger Corbett and they feature on “Gypsy Spirit”. The future of Australian Country Music is in good hands. April 2000.
