Post and Handling Charges

The number of items you order and the destination address will determine your Post & Handling or shipping charges.

To work out what shipping charges will apply to your order, proceed through to the "check-out". Once you have selected your items and the delivery area, the P&H will be calculated. There is no obligation to complete your purchase as this is before you have accepted the order. Email us if you need any other information.

If you are overseas, your freight on up to 8 items will also be calculated at checkout, however, if you wish to order 8 or more items, please select that option from the Delivery Area box. This will calculate freight at $0.00 and we will email you with the cost of shipping if you request it.

As our shipping costs are calculated on a "per item" basis, from time to time, there may be a shipping premium added to the purchase of heavy items, like books or box sets of cds, particularly for export. This will be noted on the item description and will only be charged on items that have been so noted.

If you are overseas and wish to have your order shipped "without jewel cases" we can do this. It will save some postage on 3 or more items, but may expose your cds to greater risk of postal damage. If you would like this option, please specify it in the comments box on the order form when completing your purchase and we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Export shipping is GST free.

P&H or shipping costs within Australia include GST, and the maximum freight charged for any one order within Australia is currently $10.50.

Our prices do not include insurance and we do not accept liability for delayed or missing packages once they leave our control. Should you wish to add insurance please email us for information.

Delivery Times

If everything is in stock, your order will most often be posted the same day, unless your order is placed over the weekend and we will send it on the Monday. If an item is on backorder, or currently out of stock, we are usually able to ship within 10 days. If for some reason we are unable to do this, for example if the distributor is unable to supply more copies immediately, we will endeavour to contact you to let you know.

We use Australia Post to deliver by airmail worldwide. The cost is automatically calculated for you at checkout and depends on the quantity of items ordered. This information is provided before you accept the order and accordingly you do not have to confirm the order if you wish.

For Australian orders, there is now an option on 1-4 and 5-7 items for Express Post delivery. This will only guarantee "next day" delivery to places listed on the Australia Post network including major cities around the country. Shipping times depend on the postal service and customs clearance in the destination country, as well as the postal service in Australia. Accordingly we are unable to guarantee delivery times, but we have found that from dispatch, orders currently are taking the following times for delivery:

Australia: 2-5 days
New Zealand: 4-5 days
Asia/Pacific: 6-7 days
North America: 7-10 days
UK and Europe: 7-10 days
Rest of World: 10-14 days

Please note that if a parcel is delayed or has been misdirected for what ever reason, postal services usually allow time for it to reach an incorrect address and to be returned to the sender before instituting any search process. This can take up to 60 days for delivery, so your patience is appreciated. This is only in the most unusual of cases; we have found delivery overseas to be 99% effective over more than two decades sending parcels around the world.
