Stan Coster started his career in Country Music at the age of 25, writing about the bushland that he loved. Slim Dusty recorded 71 original Coster compositions. In 1971 he began recording and touring, in the years that followed, he was to achieve great success, recording a total of 12 albums, inducted into the Hands of Fame, winning Golden Guitars, awarded the Songmaker award by the TSA, inducted into the Australian Order of Merit in the Queens Birthday honours and in 1990 elevated to the Roll of Renown. 168 pages from his diaries and the pen of his family around him, with dozens of photos it's a publication not to be missed by any fan of Bush Ballads and the poets who pen them.
