 | | Dianna Corcoran Little Bit CrazyPrice: $24.95 Released March 2003. What an unexpected delight this one was when I first put it in the player. It came to me with no expectations, from this new young lady from South Australia with no nationally noted players on the sleeve notes, save for Andrew Clermont on fiddle. It’s bright and breezy and just so fresh! There are thirteen songs on Little Bit Crazy, with Dianna taking a hand in writing eight of them, six of them are solo projects. Also in the mix is the Graeme Connors and Doug Trevor ‘September’s Sweet Child’ and a surprise inclusion as a bonus track of Harry Torrani’s ‘Mocking Bird Yodel’. The album is full of bright songs, even when they’re down tempo (if that makes sense), production to highlight her particularly fresh and tuneful vocals, and still very country with a bright pop edge to the arrangements that still includes mandolin and pedal steel. Included with the CD is a CD-Rom video of the video clip for the first single and title track ‘Little Bit Crazy’.
Track List: Little Bit Crazy, Let It Rain, Why Do I Cry, September's Sweet Child, I'll Fly Away, Fire And Ice, Keep Coming Back, Country Heart, Odd One Out, The Mountain, Here She Stands, The River Wild And Deeper, Mockingbird Yodel (Bonus), plus a CD Rom Video of Little Bit Crazy
