Tasmanian Country music pioneer Paul Lester joined the Rick and Thel Carey Show as lead guitarist in 1961 after getting up to do “a turn” on one of their Tasmanian shows and was asked to join the show. He played on many of their subsequent recordings. As well as touring with the Rick & Thel Show, Paul travelled with the legendary Brian Young Show. Here are his last recordings.
