 | | Dwight Yoakam Dwight's Used Records Price: $24.95 Dwight’s Used Records compiles a number of his contributions to other’s albums in recent times with some occasional new material in a 14 track. From the Waylon Jennings tribute album comes “Stop the World (and Let Me Off)”, the Ralph Stanley Tribute “Down Where the River Bends” and “Miner’s Prayer”. The Webb Pierce tribute yields “If You Were Me (and I Were You)”. The ZZ Top tribute brings “I’m Bad I’m Nationwide” and “Some Dark Holler”, Dwight’s two contributions to the “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” project are also included. Then there’s some vocal work on loan to other’s albums, including Heather Miles (“Little Chapel”), Deanna Carter (“Waiting”) and one only previously included on the box set Reprise Please Baby, which we better know as an Alan Jackson song “Mercury Blues”. Topping it out, 3 unreleased tracks, John Prine’s Paradise in two versions and the sensational single recorded last year but not included on Population Me, “Loco Motion”.
