 | | Graham Rodger Steering Wheel DroversPrice: $29.95 Graham’s debut album, Steering Wheel Drovers contains all original material written by Graham himself; all about real life people and places throughout the outback, and his patriotic view of our country, its people and our lifestyle, shines through on every track. Graham Rodger was born in the early 50's in Gympie, a rural community north of Brisbane in Southern Queensland. Graham’s first break in songwriting came in 1992 with a phone call from Slim Dusty. Slim asked permission to record a song written by Graham called "You Can’t Take Australia From Me". Slim subsequently recorded the song, and it was released on his album "Ringer From The Top End". Slim has since recorded many more of Graham’s songs, and Graham is still writing for him today; as well as for many other well known artists such as Glenn Jones, Dean Perrett, Jeff Brown, Tom Maxwell, Brian Letton, Dave McCallum, Bob Easter and Brian Young.
