 | | Graeme Connors and Fiddler's Feast The Last SupperteersPrice: $29.95 Here’s a studio project with a difference featuring Graeme Connors as the self- described “guest singer/writer” and the high energy FIDDLER’S FEAST with the amazing multi-bowed talents of Marcus Holden, Clare O’Meara and Mark Oates –It’s a bold concept, but it works a treat – some are all Connors, some are co-writes with the likes of Troy Cassar-Daley, Aleyce Simmonds, Allan Caswell and Melinda Schneider – and really outstanding songs as a result. The fun-filled “Guess Who’s Got Kids” is the first radio single with its reggae feel, but there are plenty of contenders here – the beautiful “Bondwood Boat”, the slow two-stepping “The Facts Of Love” featuring Clare’s collaborative vocals, the superb “So Far So Good”. The diversity of the songs and musical feels is totally refreshing – there is a real spontaneity to the album that speaks volumes for the rapport between Graeme and the Feast –Last Supperteers is truly a 13 track feast that held my complete attention from the entrée to the warm towels with the last song. – Rick Jenner CapNews August 2007-09-06 So Far So Good, What Goes Around Comes Around, Guess Who’s Got Kids, Bondwood Boat, The Facts of Love, My Life Doesn’t Understand Me, The Madcrab and the Barramundi Boogie, Norfolk Pine, The Death Of The Unknown Poet, Me and Loretta, If I'm Upright I'm Alright, Just Around the Corner, A Girl Off The Land.
