Pete is a skilled commentator on things uniquely Australian in the style of fellow Australian story tellers John Williamson and Colin Buchanan. His songs range from the serious to the humorous and often transcend musical boundaries. The first single from the album “The Ringing Of The Steel” has been nominated for the 2008 Golden Guitar Award in the “Heritage Song Of The Year” category. He’s a multi-instrumentalist and played in Slim Dusty’s Travelling Country Band, writing songs for many artists including “The Bloke Who Serves The Beer” that was included on Slim Dusty’s 100th album and most recently has hit the bigtime on Youtube with his Teenage Anthem "Sort of Dunno Nothin'"
