The Naked Truth is a live show performed at The Tamworth Golf Club during the 2010 Tamworth Country Music Festival featuring Murray Hartin, Brad Maclean and Marco Gliori. This album features live tracks from that show plus tracks by these three artists (and a ring-in) recorded in 2008 and 2009 during The Naked Poets Shows at the same venue. Both Muz and Marco were part of the hugely successful Naked Poets Group for over a decade, (also featuring Shirley Friend, Ray Essery, Pat Drummond and Bob Miller), but after the group split following the standard rumours of love triangles, professional infidelities, pathetic over-acting, and a distinct lack of talent, Muz and Marco roped in Brad and they got naked once more for this little gem.
