 | | Graham Rodger Shadows Across The MoonPrice: $24.95 “As I travel around and meet many people they give or tell wonderful stories about their lives, their great grandparents, grandparents or their parents. It is these discussions that inspired me to write songs on this album. Like the song "Angels without Halos" which started when Brian Beamish brought Wallace, a grandson of the Fuzzy Wuzzys, to my concert at Tamworth 2 years ago, following from this, Peter Coverdale sent me poems of his father's, relating his experiences in New Guinea during World War II. Thank you for that inspiration. Then there’s "Goldie" the true story and name of a great bloke who wandered up to me out at Winton and we just got talking, I hope I have done justice for this true battler who picked up his saddle and made a reputation for himself amongst the ringers back 50 odd years ago. So the stories come to be songs… I am very proud of this album and have strived to maintain a standard that the public deserve. So sit back once more, turn the volume up and be taken to - "Windows Across The Moon." 1. Backwards, 2. Take Your Bank And Shove It, 3. The Cooper Coming Down, 4. Shadows Across The Moon, 5.
