 | | Brian Jendra the Monto Yodeller Still Yodelling OnPrice: $29.95 A word from the Singer! Hello Country Music Lovers and Yodelling fans.
Following my absence from the Recording studio for (would you believe) 24 years, I am proud and excited to present to you, a set of 14 traditional Country songs selected from the archives. Twelve of these were chosen by me, one of which is not a yodelling song, ie “With This Ring I Thee Wed". The remaining two songs were special requests of my good wife and rock, Val. These are “The Roaming Yodeller” and “She Taught Me How To Yodel”. I chose the latter one on the occasion of my very first stage appearance on l4 September, 1968 in Maryborough, Qld, when I won the Advanced Gents Section. My thanks go to Val for her encouragement and support in bringing this CD to fruition. Without her, this CD would not have existed. I also thank my Rhythm Guitarist and long time good friend, Jim Brown for his hard work and dedication and Steve Sparrow of Spartec Studios for his patience and unwavering desire to produce the best sound possible and his friendship and hospitality. Yodelling Always, Brian Jendra – the Monto Yodeller.
The Rodeo Is On, Echoing Hills Yodel Back To Me, Where the Bellinger River Flows, My Swiss Moonlight Lullaby, She Taught Me How To Yodel, With This Ring I Thee Wed, The Roaming Yodeller, Valley of Love, Silver Wings, From Forty to Sixty Five, Springtime In Victoria, Rolling Wagons, Old Faithful and I, Rockonover River.
